Find the perfect fit: Circulation Coolant Preheater

Engine size, engine application, ambient conditions, and required heating performance are all determining factors in choosing a preheater.
Depending on their type, preheaters can be integrated at different points within the engine system. Matching the preheater to both the engine architecture and operating environment ensures efficient combustion, reduced wear, and reliable start performance.

  • Heating: The electric heating element warms the coolant as it passes through the heater chamber.

  • Scalable heating capacity: available in different power levels (from a few hundred watts to several kW) and in different input voltages.

  • Circulation:

    • Thermosiphon type: Warm coolant rises naturally, pulling cooler coolant into the heater (no pump required).

    • Pump-assisted type: An electric pump integrated to the unit actively circulates coolant through the engine for faster, more even heating.

  • Typical Applications

    • Power generators

    • Marine engines

    • Construction and agricultural machinery

    • Heavy-duty trucks and buses

Circulation coolant heaters heat the entire engine system most effectively,

making them the preferred choice for most industrial engines.

GenHeat supplies preheating systems from all the leading brands. The different systems help improve engine starts, reduce engine wear, lower fuel consumption, and decrease environmental damage.  Find out more about our brands:
